Independent Advice, Tailored Solutions
At North West Hearing, we offer truly independent hearing care, which means we can recommend the best hearing aids from any manufacturer, not just a limited range. We take the time to understand your hearing needs, daily routine, and budget, and match you with the most suitable solution.
We know hearing loss can be difficult to come to terms with, but you are not alone. Whether you are new to hearing aids or looking to upgrade, our experienced audiologists will guide you through the options in a relaxed, supportive setting, with no pressure, only honest, expert advice.

Choosing the Right Hearing Aid
With so many styles, technologies, and features available, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but that is where we come in. With more than 20 years of experience, we will walk you through the benefits of each type and recommend a hearing aid that suits your hearing profile, lifestyle, and preferences. As an independent clinic, we are free to offer solutions from across the industry, including the latest discreet, rechargeable, and Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Lyric
Lyric is the world’s first 100% invisible hearing aid, designed for continuous 24/7 wear for up to three months. It works during showering, sleeping, and exercising, requires no battery changes so you barely notice it, and delivers exceptional performance.

Invisible-in-the-Canal (IIC)
IIC hearing aids fit deep inside the ear canal, rendering them virtually unseen. Their visibility depends on the canal’s size and shape. They must be removed for showering and sleeping yet can be worn comfortably throughout all other daily activities.

In-the-Ear (ITE)
These in‐the‐ear (ITE) hearing aids offer a discreet, comfortable solution for mild to severe loss. The smallest ITE models, known as Completely‐in‐Canal (CIC) aids, fit entirely inside the ear canal, ensuring discretion and delivering excellent performance.

Micro Over-the-Ear (OTE)
Micro Over‐the‐Ear (OTE) hearing aids are lightweight and discreet, delivering both comfort and outstanding sound quality. A thin, nearly invisible wire creates a subtle design while optimal receiver placement enhances speech clarity in noisy settings.

Behind-the-Ear (BTE)
Behind‐the‐Ear (BTE) hearing aids are versatile and powerful, designed to sit comfortably behind the ear. Suitable for all levels of hearing loss, they are especially beneficial for severe cases, offering enhanced amplification, clarity, and dependable performance.

Hearing Glasses (Spectacle Aids)
Hearing glasses (Spectacle Aids) integrate sound and vision by embedding hearing aids into eyeglasses. Offered as an all‐in‐one system or as an adapter for existing frames, they provide a discreet solution—ask our audiologists for guidance.
